ABOUT THE ROLE

• You will be an integral part of the Accounting/Finance team by assisting the Director of Finance/Controller with transactional activity as follows:
  • Cash
    • Daily Sales
  • Accounts Receivable
    • Invoicing
    • Collections
  • Accounts Payable
    • Vendor Set-Up
    • Bills
    • Checks
    • Credit Card

      

  • Monthly Close
    • Journal Entries
    • Account Recs - Cash, Credit Card, Balance Sheet
    • General Ledger Review

     

  • Administrative
    • Accounting Support Organization
  • Other ad hoc responsibilities as assigned

ABOUT YOU

• You are working toward a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• You have an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy working with a growing business
• You are a hardworking individual who has some technical accounting expertise (a prior internship in an accounting-focused role is a plus!
• You have excellent interpersonal skills (written & verbal) and can develop relationships with team members at all levels
• You enjoy team collaboration and can also work independently
• You have the ability to adapt to change quickly, re-prioritize and stay organized
• You love a challenge and are self-motivated to dig down deep and follow-through until the issue is resolved
• You are detail-oriented but you also understand the big picture
• You are looking to continuously learn and grow in your accounting career
