Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year Job Summary: SafeRide is looking for an experienced Field Services Specialist (Los Angeles, CA) to perform field investigations, observations, vehicle inspections and credentialing support at the direction of the Network Credentialing Manager. You will support SafeRide's Safety and Fraud, Waste and Abuse programs, and other market specific projects. You will partner with the credentialing and complaints & grievances teams and will report into these teams respectively. You will... Spend 3 days each week using your own vehicle (you will be reimbursed for mileage) performing scheduled and random visits to healthcare facilities and contracted transportation providers to verify level of service; provider's adherence to contract standards for drivers and vehicles; and provider's on-time performance Provide oversight of driver and attendants participation in and compliance with SafeRide's prescribed training curriculum. Provide clean reporting structure for potentially fraudulent rides by supplying evidence in various forms of onsite visits. The ideal candidate would have the following... High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) 3+ years experience in NEMT or related fields Current certification from the CTAA and NSC Prior audit experience or knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare guidelines Valid/current driver's license, clean driving record, and use of a hands-free mobile phone. Must be able to travel locally 3 days per week that include Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Prior experience with Amazon Quicksight is a plus Willing to utilize owned vehicles to meet travel requirements. Vehicle must be licensed to drive in state of operation.
