Part Time Receptionist SAFESPEED, LLC 32 reviews - Chicago, IL $12.50 an hour - Full-time, Part-time Position Summary: The full-time Receptionist is responsible for providing friendly, prompt and courteous customer service by answering and routing telephone calls, greeting and directing visitors and maintaining reception area and break areas and assist with the ordering of office supplies. Key Responsibilities: The following items include normal and routine job duties. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as business needs require. * Answer telephones in a friendly, courteous manner and route calls to the appropriate staff member or department. * Assist in setting up scheduled meetings and/or events. * Greet building visitors. Determine what service(s) they need. Direct them to the right area or department and/or notify staff member. * Communicate with management regarding special events, meetings, updates and issues. * Answer simple inquiries. * Provide administrative support as needed. * Maintain all common office areas. * Assist with ordering of office supplies and break room supplies (including inventory control and stocking). * Deliver and pick-up mail from the other office location and notify staff members when express deliveries and other materials are left at the reception desk. * Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: * Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred. * Minimum six months reception experience answering telephones and greeting the public. * Excellent customer service and communication skills. * Ability to relate courteously to people of diverse backgrounds and abilities. * Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities. * Excellent computer skills including proficiency in the most current applications of Windows and Office (Word, Excel, and Access).
