Safetec is searching for an individual who is energetic and passionate about design and is committed to providing support to a fast-paced marketing team. As a graphic designer on the team, you will need to have strong proficiency, a knack for detail, and a high level of enthusiasm, since you will be working both independently and collaboratively with the sales and marketing team. Within this role, the designer will work alongside another Graphic Designer to create graphics and creative content for emails, social media, web, tradeshows, and company-branded materials and manage artwork templates for package design for both Safetec and private label business.

 Knowledge/Responsibilities:

Support the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, concepting, designing, and executing of creative marketing programs such as email, social media, and/or content marketing

• Design compelling ads, branded collateral, and trade show materials 
• Assist with managing and designing all packaging artwork files for Safetec brand and private label business
• Work directly with customers, and print vendors to provide/update artwork templates and manage proof approvals
• Possess strong communication skills, verbal and written when working on projects and interacting with the team and Safetec's customers
• Ability to think and act creatively and have excellent problem-solving skills  
• Be able to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment

 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (BS or BFA) in Graphic Design or related field

• 4-6 years graphic design work experience

• High level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop

• A cohesive portfolio of graphic design work, showcasing creative thinking, visually compelling ideas and engaging creative content

• Positive, collaborative, and open to receiving feedback

• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of proofreading skills

• Knowledge of printing procedures

• Experience with video a plus
