    INDUSTRY: Oil & Gas / Industrial

    LOCATION: New Braunfels (25% travel)

    CONTEXT: We are seeking a Safety & Compliance Coordinator to support health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs across multiple locations. This role is 90–95% office-based and ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and excels in administrative and program management tasks.

    Because of the nature of the work, experience in oil & gas, industrial, or heavy equipment environments is strongly preferred.

    We are open to two possible candidate profiles:

    • Safety Coordinator Track – Someone with HSE experience or education who can lead safety programs, policies, and audits.

    • Administrative Assistant Track – A strong administrator with exposure to safety programs who is eager to learn, adaptable, and ready to grow into an HSE support role.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Track, schedule, and maintain compliance records for safety training, refresher courses, and drug testing (H2S, SafeLand, First Aid/CPR, etc.).

    • Manage safety-related documentation, reporting, and program updates.

    • Draft and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment and operational tasks.

    • Support safety audits and compliance tracking across multiple sites (training provided as needed).

    • Coordinate weekly virtual safety meetings and communicate safety topics to staff.

    • Assist with environmental compliance, including proper waste disposal tracking.

    • Prepare reports, maintain databases, and support regulatory submissions.

    • Provide administrative support to leadership for safety programs, training vendors, and reporting platforms.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Option 1: Safety Coordinator Track

    • Degree, certificate, or experience in Health, Safety & Environmental programs.

    • 1–3 years in HSE or related safety role (oil & gas, industrial, or heavy equipment strongly preferred).

    • Knowledge of OSHA/Cal-OSHA compliance, policy writing, and safety audits.

    • Strong administrative and computer skills (MS Office, reporting systems).

    Option 2: Administrative Assistant Track

    • 2+ years of professional administrative experience with demonstrated tech proficiency.

    • Exposure to safety programs or industrial/oilfield environments strongly preferred.

    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

    • Quick learner with ability to adapt and grow into HSE responsibilities.

    $70,000-$90,000 per year
