Key Responsibilities of a Safety & Compliance Manager:

• Develop & Enforce Policies: Create, implement, and uphold safety policies that comply with federal, state, and corporate regulations.
• Risk Assessment : Conduct safety audits and recommend improvements to reduce risks and enhance safety practices.
• Training & Guidance: Lead training sessions on accident prevention and compliance with regulations.
• Incident Investigation : Thoroughly investigate safety incidents and coach drivers to promote a culture of safety.
• Monitor Operations : Oversee daily operations to ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.
• Analyze Safety Trends : Track safety data and provide actionable insights to improve safety measures across the organization.
• Collaborate with Teams : Work closely with management, drivers, and staff to continuously improve safety awareness and compliance.

Qualifications of a Safety & Compliance Manager:

• Experience : Proven background in fleet safety, risk management, or a related role.
• Knowledge of Regulations : Strong understanding of safety standards, including OSHA, FMCSA, and FTA regulations.
• Leadership : Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to Detail : Keen observational skills and a proactive approach to safety.
• Fleetio Experience : Familiarity with fleet management tools like Fleetio is a plus.
