The Safety Coordinator is responsible for promoting and ensuring a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. This role supports the implementation and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, ensures compliance with applicable regulations (OSHA, EPA, local, and state), and drives a safety culture through training, audits, incident investigation, and employee engagement

Qualifications:

• Associate’sor Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Safety Management Systems.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification strongly desired or equivalent of 6 years of experience in this area.
• Experienced as a safety trainer or safety facilitator in a classroom setting. Required to administer and maintain records of forklift/truck training process.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, local/state and other regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management software.
