We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to join our team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment for all employees. Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training and support to employees on safety practices and emergency response procedures.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and suggesting improvements to prevent future occurrences.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports.
• Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in safety regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in safety coordination or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare reports effectively.
• Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CIH) is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.

Salary info:

$30 - $35 / hr
