    Overview Georgia Green Energy Services (GGES) is seeking two (2) local Safety Coordinators to provide on-site support for an electrical construction project at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. This contract role works closely with the Safety Manager to help ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and GGES safety standards while supporting daily safety monitoring, documentation, and training.

    Project Duration Short-term assignment scheduled to run through April 25, 2026.

    Location Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (Atlanta, GA) Local candidates only — no per diem available.

    Schedule / Hours (Availability Required Monday–Sunday)

    Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

    Friday–Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

    Some weekend work required (included in schedule above)

    Key Responsibilities

    Assist with implementing company safety policies and procedures on active job sites

    Support compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and company safety standards

    Participate in site walkthroughs/inspections to identify hazards and verify PPE usage

    Document observations, track corrective actions, and escalate concerns to the Safety Manager

    Coordinate/support safety trainings for employees and subcontractors; track attendance and maintain training records

    Prepare safety reports, inspection forms, and compliance documentation

    Assist with accident/incident/near-miss reporting and provide admin support during investigations

    Maintain emergency response procedures, supplies, and drill documentation

    Monitor/distribute PPE and maintain inventory logs

    Provide clerical and administrative support to the Safety Manager and project team

    Required Qualifications

    1–3 years of construction safety and/or electrical construction experience preferred (entry to mid-level)

    Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety regulations (OSHA 30 or OSHA 510 preferred)

    NFPA 70E training/experience strongly preferred

    CPR/First Aid certification required

    Electrical construction experience strongly preferred

    Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills

    Position Type Contract / Full-time hours expected during project duration
