Job Overview

We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to support workplace safety initiatives in a manufacturing environment. This hands-on role works closely with employees and leadership to promote safe work practices, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new hire orientations and ongoing safety training
• Perform facility safety audits and inspections
• Identify hazards and track corrective actions
• Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis
• Maintain safety records, training documentation, and OSHA logs
• Support internal and external safety audits
• Manage PPE programs and first aid supplies
• Participate in safety meetings and employee engagement initiatives

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Safety experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• First Aid/CPR Certification
• Experience with hazard identification and OSHA recordkeeping

Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, heat, and production equipment. Combination of office and production floor responsibilities.
