    The Mission

    This role exists to build, lead, and scale a world-class safety culture across complex industrial operations. As Director of Safety, you will serve as the strategic architect of safety performance, compliance, and risk reduction across multi-site industrial environments.

    You will partner directly with executive leadership, operations, and field teams to embed safety into daily execution, ensuring that every job, every site, and every employee operates with discipline, accountability, and care.

    What You’ll Own

    • Serve as the senior safety leader, driving enterprise-wide HSE strategy, execution, and continuous improvement
    • Build and enforce safety systems that exceed regulatory compliance and deliver measurable reductions in risk
    • Lead accident prevention, investigation, and root cause analysis programs across all operating sites
    • Develop and execute long-term safety strategy aligned with business growth and operational expansion
    • Act as a visible field presence, partnering directly with operations, supervisors, and frontline teams
    • Establish and maintain safety governance across PPE, training, audits, drug & alcohol compliance, and regulatory programs
    • Lead OSHA, ANSI, and NFPA compliance initiatives across industrial service operations
    • Build high-performance safety teams and develop future safety leaders
    • Deliver executive-level reporting on safety metrics, trends, risk exposure, and improvement initiatives
    • Lead company-wide safety communication strategies to reinforce accountability, ownership, and engagement


    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and enforce enterprise safety policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
    • Oversee accident investigations, corrective actions, and root cause analysis across all operations
    • Lead multi-site safety audit programs and ensure consistent compliance standards
    • Manage workers’ compensation, OSHA reporting, and regulatory interface
    • Drive training strategy and execution across field operations and leadership teams
    • Partner with equipment, operations, and engineering teams to ensure safe design and deployment of industrial equipment
    • Champion behavioral safety, near-miss reporting, and proactive hazard mitigation
    • Maintain direct oversight of drug and alcohol compliance programs, including DOT and DISA standards
    • Build systems that scale with growth, ensuring safety remains embedded at every operational layer


    The Ideal Profile

    • 5+ years of senior-level HSE leadership in industrial services, heavy industrial, petrochemical, energy, or manufacturing environments
    • Deep working knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, and industrial regulatory frameworks
    • Proven ability to lead safety transformation across multi-site operations
    • Executive communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
    • Strong analytical mindset paired with field credibility
    • Highly disciplined, detail-driven, and execution-focused
    • Natural leader who drives accountability while building trust
