Safety Inspector – Commercial Roofing (Field-Based)

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 per year (based on experience)

We’re hiring a Safety Inspector for a commercial roofing company with a long-standing reputation across Texas. This is a field-based role, reporting to the Safety Director and working directly with crews and general contractors on active jobsites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily safety audits and inspections
• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans
• Lead toolbox talks and employee safety training
• Ensure OSHA compliance and assist with inspections
• Perform job hazard analysis and respond to incidents
• Work with general contractors’ safety personnel to meet site-specific requirements

Requirements:

• Bilingual – must be fluent in English and Spanish
• Valid driver's license
• Authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify is used)
• OSHA 500 certification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• 1–3 years of experience in a construction safety role (roofing experience is a plus)
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented and self-motivated
