**Safety Specialist

This newly created position will support two local plants totaling (400) employees in the Cleveland area. This role will be a member of the EHS Department and will report to the EHS Manager. This role will work closely with facility supervisors and support them. This is a fast-paced and challenging production facility due to the complexity of their operations. Outstanding career growth into other EHS leadership roles within larger facilities or corporate and divisional locations.

**Duties & Responsibilities:

**

• Assist in identifying, developing, and delivering safety training

• Provide incident investigation, including root cause analysis, recommendations, and follow up

¨NBSP;

Primary focus on safety prevention

• Conduct behavior training related to human performance safety issues

• Assure all safety and environmental compliance issues are current

• Work with leadership to improve and promote safety culture

**Key Requirements Include:

**

• At least two years of safety experience (manufacturing operations)

• Related Bachelor of Science Safety degree or related field

• Possess passion and tenacity on proactive safety

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Salary info:

$38.46 - $43.27 / hr
