Safety Technician – Sherman, TX

Stratus Systems is seeking a Safety Technician to support field operations on active industrial construction projects in the Sherman area. This role works directly with project teams, superintendents, and craft to help maintain a safe and productive jobsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine jobsite safety walks and identify potential hazards
• Support daily safety operations alongside superintendents and field teams
• Assist with incident investigations and documentation
• Help enforce company and OSHA safety standards on active projects
• Participate in and support toolbox talks and safety meetings
• Maintain accurate safety logs, reports, and documentation
• Promote a proactive safety culture across the jobsite

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of construction or industrial safety experience (entry-level candidates considered)
• OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 or higher a plus)
• Basic understanding of jobsite safety practices and hazard recognition
• Strong communication skills and willingness to engage with field personnel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, active construction environment

Compensation

• $25–$28/hour (based on experience)
