Job Description

We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• Reconcile payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month
• Monitor financial transactions and reports
• Process accounts receivable and payable
• Filing and maintaining of all documents
• Process checks
• Understand ledgers
• Work with an accountant when necessary
• Handle bi-weekly payroll using accounting software
• Report to company treasurer
• Ensure club policy is followed in obtaining proper authorization signatures
• Manage all credit memos

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate's degree in accounting. Knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Competency of Quickbooks (a must)
• At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
• Experience with accounting software Quickbooks
• Able to prepare, review and understand financial statements
