Responsibility
CNA, works under the supervision of nurses to deliver high quality care to patients.
Assist patients with their basic needs and ADL’s
Answer calls for help and observe changes in a patient’s condition or behavior
Check and record vital signs; measure height and weight; measure intake and output; collect specimens; test urine;
Observe patient response to care; report and record observations of patient's conditions.
Check and pass food trays; feed patients; provide fresh drinking water and nourishments; assist with bed pans, urinals and commodes; empty urine collection bags; assist with colostomy care
Turn and position patients; provide range of motion exercises; transfer patients to wheelchair/stretcher; assist with ambulation.
Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality;
Requirements:
Resume – with a minimum of 1 year of long-term care experience
C.N.A- PA license (in good standing)
Current - BLS/CPR
2- current references (supervisors)
2- step PPD (within the last 12 months)
Current physical (within the last 12 months)
MMR, Varicella, Hep B- Vaccination or declined
PA- Police – criminal background check
Must be able to pass back ground check
Must be able to pass urine drug screen
