LPN – License Practical Nurses Needed – Block Bookings /Per Diem/Part-time/Full time

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Facility: Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Care

Shifts: evening shift (2pm – 10:30pm) and every other weekend and an occasional daylight shift.

Length: Block Bookings/Per-Diem - on going needs, pick up extra shifts as often as you need to! You draft your own schedule on a monthly basis.

Number of positions: 5+

Orientation: September 2019 (8a-4:30p) (orientation is one day from 8am – 4:30pm)

Pay rate: $30(local) to $32/hr(travelers)

Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibility

Directs, initiates, and implements of patient care, under the supervision of RN’s
Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
Provide leadership and accountability
Administration of prescribed medications.
Assist with C.N.A’s role
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks

Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements:

Resume – with a minimum of 1 year of long-term care experience

LPN - PA license (in good standing)

Current - BLS/CPR

2- Current references (supervisors)

2- step PPD (within the last 12 months)

Current physical (within the last 12 months)

MMR, Varicella, Hep B- Vaccination or declined

PA- Police – criminal background check

Must be able to pass back ground/ urine drug screen
