We're looking to bring a new and dynamic approach to our business owner and real estate investor clients. Our team is diverse and has a dynamic client-first culture. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CPA/EA/Tax Accountant to join our team and help grow the brand.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and best practices but also be able to make tax fun! (We know that seems weird). Our clients love to learn, are interactive and best of all, actually listen to the advice you give them. We constantly screen our clientele as well, you will not work with demanding, demeaning or generally unpleasant clients.
Initially you will be responsible for providing exceptional tax preparation, coaching and planning services to our clients. We are happy to train and mentor the right candidate(s).
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse leaders in law and financial planning as well.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns in compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients and, when necessary, help identify opportunities for tax optimization and cost savings.
- Assist clients with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional planning teams to ensure seamless integration of tax strategies with overall legal and financial planning.
- Stay updated on emerging tax issues, trends, and developments that may impact clients' financial well-being.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Experience in public accounting or a tax-related role.
- Solid understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
