    THE OPPORTUNITY: Our RAN Test Engineer will be responsible for the development and engineering activities supporting 4G RAN repair operations. The candidate will develop test procedures, oversee the execution of these tests, provide testing status to management, debug software and hardware issues in a lab environment, and work with repair technicians to resolve issues found during testing.

    • Provides technical assistance to the Repair Manager in the development of new repair projects and the improvement of current testing process

    • Conducts end-to-end activities of new repair projects as related to product research, test plan development, testbed buildout and setup, and hands-on training, with the assistance of the Engineering Manager

    • Assists repair technicians in troubleshooting new failures discovered during testing. Collects test/repair data and performs failure mode analysis (FMA) to determine the root causes as required.

    • Creates, modifies, and finalizes acceptance testing documents/test datasheets.

    • Responsible for testbed/test equipment maintenance and document organization.

    • Works with Repair/Program Manager to manage and resolve escalated technical issues arising from operations, internal and external customers

    IDEAL CANDIDATE: An individual who has previous experience with Ericsson Radio Systems, thinks outside of the box and applies non-standard test techniques where typical procedures may not fulfill testing needs, and possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in communication technologies or related radio frequency field is required
    • Previous experience with Ericsson Radio System LTE components (radio, baseband, and AIR)
    • Familiarity with EMCLI tool for analyzing and troubleshooting HE-related faults associated with radio
    • Must be highly organized, proficient in time management, and proactive
    • Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications
