Job Summary The Marketing Specialist is directly responsible for assisting in the Credit Union's marketing initiatives including creation, design and execution of marketing campaigns, advertising, social media strategy and content execution, business development efforts, internal and external communications, copywriting and proofreading, event attendance, research, and general assistance. Responsibilities and Duties Develop strategies to increase membership and product penetration Assist with the creation of campaigns, member events and other initiatives Support the graphic design needs of the Credit Union Maintain and grow the Credit Union's social media presence Education and Experience College degree in marketing, new media studies, journalism, or related field Graphic design experience with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. One to three years social media experience, including but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn One to three years marketing and/or public relations experience
