MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Management, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or another applicable field
CORE CAPABILITIES REQUIRED: PROGRAM MANAGEMENT, ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT, INTERNAL CONTROLS, KNOWLEDGE OF OMB CIRCULAR A-123
APPLICABLE CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES (NOT REQUIRED BUT PREFERRED): Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) or another applicable certification
DESCRIPTION:
In search of a consultant with internal controls and enterprise risk management (ERM) experience. The consultant should have the experience and ability to:
- Provide innovative solutions for internal control, enterprise risks, financial and compliance activities across the organization in compliance with Federal Government Agency and OMB Circular A-123
- Develop and support an enterprise risk management program, including the establishment of foundational processes, governing bodies, and operating models
- Validate that internal controls and risk function against a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluating the effectiveness of quality control, compliance, and governance processes
- Help clients enhance their strategic risk awareness in the areas of enterprise risk management
- Facilitate use of technology-based risk assessment tools or methodologies to review, design and implement solutions
- Participate in and/or lead the development of deliverable content that meets the needs of the client
- Anticipate client needs and formulate solutions to client issues
- Develop and/or implement (repeatable/automated) analytical solutions and tools to analyze risk portfolios – reporting, data management, data interpretation into key observations and trends
The ability to work independently and in a group are required.
