    We are seeking a dynamic Overnight Guest Services Agent. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.

    Responsibilities

    Must be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times

    Establish and maintain good communication and teamwork with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel

    Offer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to the company’s standards of excellence, professionalism and friendliness

    Patrol hotel property to ensure the safety of guests and employees and to protect all hotel assets.

    Answer house calls, assist guests and employees with respect to safety, security and hotel operations in a courteous, efficient and professional manner

    Respond to all emergencies on property to include, but not limited to, fire, medical, severe weather and evacuation

    Initiate and follow-up all investigations of crimes committed against property and persons

    Assist ill and injured guests and employees, ensuring documentation and disposition of reports

    Greet every guest with a smile and maintain eye contact and escort them to their rooms, offering assistance as needed

    Conduct walk through observations of entire hotel, Watching for suspicious persons entering, exiting, or loitering around building

    Possess knowledge of all hotel services and amenities

    Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes adhering to the proper dress code when working

    Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism which includes accommodating special requests whenever possible, resolving customer complaints, assisting customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.

    Observe the security monitors for any unusual activity and in the case of suspicious behavior report directly, via radio, to the supervisor on duty; report any alarms similarly

    Maintain accurate records while performing basic office duties including, but not limited to, camera monitoring, shift activity log

    Open vehicle doors and property doors for guests and employees

    Handle and tag guest luggage, deliver luggage to rooms upon check-in, pick up luggage from room upon departure, and move the luggage to storage or the front drive as needed

    Perform other duties as assigned which may include but is not limited to accepting dry cleaning from guest and secure for pick up by dry cleaning company, delivering clean laundry, guest mail/messages or sundry items to guest rooms; running errands for guests and the hotel that may require local travel off the hotel property and responding to other special requests

    Adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos and verbal instructions

    Be familiar with all fire/safety and emergency procedures including OSHA requirements
