    We are seeking a dynamic Pool Supervisor to join our team. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.

    Responsibilities

    Establish and maintain good communication and teamwork with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel

    Offer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to our standards of excellence, professionalism and friendliness

    Stock and replenish pool bar items, and compute and relay guest charges accurately to Front Office

    Set up, manage and breakdown pool bar and pool bar operations

    Responsible for food and beverage staffing at the pool to ensure proper coverage at all times

    Keep accurate par levels of all alcoholic items at the pool bar and in storage areas

    Ensure adequate supply of towels or pool guest amenities are stocked at all times

    Keep an accurate par if food items such as beverages and snacks, as well as non-food items like menu cards, napkins, straws, etc. on cart and in storage areas

    Check quality and expiration of all items; discard and replace according to established procedures

    Maintain “open door” communication with employees

    Uphold the highest standards of hospitality and service, constantly monitoring guest experience

    Take ownership of all service issues brought to your attention by guests

    Ensure all cash handling and closing procedures are followed per Accounting guidelines and expectations

    Adhere to all closing procedures for the pool according to established procedures

    Assist Arlo Grey managers in interviewing, selecting, training, guiding, managing and scheduling pool personnel

    Maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel

    Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested

    Core Competencies

    High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

    Two (2) years related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred

    Strong communication skills

    Computer Proficiency: Microsoft Office, POS
