We are currently seeking to hire a System Engineer (Automotive System) to become an integral part of our development team! You will design and test operating systems-level software and network distribution software.

JOB TITLE: SYSTEM ENGINEER

LOCATION: BURR RIDGE, CHICAGO IL

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Work closely with team in the designing and documenting of Agriculture and Construction specific diagnostic applications

·        Active participation in the project progress meetings.

·        Continuous feedback to the team manager with progress on assigned activities

·        Liaise with multiple teams for problem resolution

·        Design validation testing

MUST-HAVE:

·        5+ years experience in providing effective requirements and specifications for automotive/off-highway equipment’s/modules

·        5+ years experience and proven knowledge of CAN based diagnostic protocols (J1939, UDS/KWP2000),

·        Strong experience with Automotive Software and protocol analyzers (Vector CAN Analyzer, INCA, off-board diagnostics and programming tools, etc.)

·        Good knowledge of vehicle diagnostic documentation standards (ODX, ODX-F, OTX, etc.)

·        Basic knowledge of scripting(e.g. shell scripts,Python)

·        Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
