CONTRACT RECRUITER (PART-TIME)   Sakara Life is a premium wellness brand providing ready-to-eat nutrition programs, functional products and unique content to clients nationwide. You will be responsible for “turning thoughts into things” and helping manifest the future of Sakara.    ABOUT THE ROLE: We are looking for a CONTRACT RECRUITER TO BE BASED OUT OF OUR LONG ISLAND CITY PRODUCTION FACILITY WHO WILL WORK PART-TIME FOR THE NEXT 2-3 MONTHS to support our growing production team. In this role you will be working closely with hiring managers, the operations team and HR to align on candidate profiles and build a pipeline of talent for open roles.  We are looking for someone who is ready to dive in head-first into a very entrepreneurial environment and support our growing team.   YOU’LL LOVE THIS ROLE IF: You have a passion for Recruiting and creating a positive candidate experience. You’re someone who cares deeply about building strong relationships and listening with a fair but compassionate approach. Ideally, you love our mission and brand as well!    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Partner with Operations leadership to understand hiring goals in order to build a pipeline of talent for both open and future openings
• Manage full cycle recruiting efforts for our growing Production team in NY including sourcing, coordinating trial days in the facility, screening, and offer
• Identify, engage and manage candidates through the interview process, creating a positive candidate experience

  QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1+ years of high volume recruiting experience. Preferably within food manufacturing/production, CPG or start-up environment
• Self starter who can quickly ramp up and build relationships with leadership and hiring managers
• Organized, detail-oriented, and focused on getting things done in a systematic, process driven manner
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, take direction, receive feedback and execute accordingly
• Strong sense of urgency and demonstrated ability to "get it done" 
• Lean mentality -- enjoys creative problem solving and thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment
• Spanish fluency is strongly preferred
• This role will be based out of our Long Island City production facility
