    Salenger, Sack, Kimmel & Bavaro, LLP, is seeking an enthusiastic Legal Assistant to join our successful team!

    The Legal Assistant duties include but are not limited to the following responsibilities:

    Communicating and following up with our clients regularly and as necessary.

    Preparing various correspondence.

    Filing No-Fault and SUM (Supplemental Underinsured Motorist) forms with insurance carriers.

    Requesting and coordinating the follow up of all steps to ensure receipt of all necessary records and documents.

    Arranging No-Fault Independent Medical Examinations (IME’s) with clients and follow up on IME reports.

    Submitting client expenses for reimbursement to carrier. Submitting bills received from client to No-Fault / Medpay Carrier.

    Organizing and maintaining client’s files.

    Serving (pre-lawsuit) settlement packages to defendants.

    Performing various tasks associated with the movement of a case pre-suit.

    The ideal candidate will be an optimistic individual who thrives in a fast pace environment and can manage competing priorities. Additionally, a minimum of 1 year of previous Legal Assistant experience in a relevant field is required, with specific personal injury experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a penchant for being very organized are a must. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
