    Job Description

    Position Summary:

    • The Sales Account Executive Contract Packaging Fulfilment position cultivates long-term client relationships by identifying needs, presenting tailored solutions, and managing the full sales cycle. This can range from lead generation and proposal development to contract closure and post-sale support. The role blends strategic market insight with hands-on field engagement, using CRM tools and cross-functional collaboration to drive profitable growth. Success in this role is driven by persuasive communication, independent initiative, and a deep understanding of product capabilities, financial metrics, and competitive dynamics.

    Responsibilities:

    Accountabilities

    • Proactively initiates and secures new client relationships, strengthens existing partnerships, and provides account support to consistently exceed customer satisfaction expectations

    • Achieves or surpasses agreed upon sales targets

    **Strategic Sales & Marketing **

    • Applies deep market, supplier, customer, and competitor insights to unlock new opportunities and grow existing accounts

    • Maintains sharp awareness of competitor strategies and uses insights to strengthen brand positioning

    • Interprets key financial metrics to inform pricing and overall sales strategy (ex. profit, cost, margin)

    **Sales Process Strategy & Growth **

    • Owns pipeline forecasting and progression, ensuring prospects advance with precision and speed

    • Assigns realistic conversion probabilities and meets performance benchmarks across the sales cycle

    • Recommends tailored solutions by aligning client needs with internal capabilities across design, cost, and timing

    • Prioritizes time and resources to close deals efficiently and meet deadlines without compromise

    • Operates with initiative, proactively identifying opportunities and executing without oversight

    • Balances autonomy with collaboration, knowing when to lead solo and when to delegate for impact

    **Field Presence & Networking **

    • Spends most of the time in the field, actively prospecting and strengthening client relationships

    • Pursues leads with urgency and strategic follow-through, turning interest into action

    • Networks internally and externally to expand market knowledge and drive informed decision-making

    Client Relationship Management

    • Builds long-term relationships through consistent outreach, even when immediate opportunities aren’t present

    • Shapes decisions through persuasive storytelling and confident influence, even in the face of resistance

    • Ensures client satisfaction through responsive service, issue resolution, and proactive follow-up

    • Documents client needs and project details in CRM with fluency in manufacturing, design, and logistics workflows

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5+ Years of experience selling corrugated packaging products

    • Proficient in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies

    • Holds a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record as verified by the DMV

    • Demonstrates high ethical standards and consistently models company values. Takes ownership of outcomes, acts with honesty and transparency, and sets a positive example for others.

    Additional Information

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's in business or related field required

    • 5+ years in B2B sales across packaging, printing, display, and marketing sectors

    • $3–5M+ book of business preferred

    • Skilled in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and relevant digital tools

    • Independent, proactive, and opportunity-driven

    Other Requirements:

    • Must be a U.S. citizen

    • Travel - Up to 35% domestic travel required

    • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Role requires standing, sitting, walking, and color vision.
