An established global nutraceutical ingredients manufacturer is seeking a results-oriented Sales Account Manager to join its U.S. commercial team. The company is a leader in developing and supplying high-quality active ingredients (APIs) and finished dosage forms across regulated markets. This position offers an excellent opportunity to manage strategic customer relationships while driving revenue growth in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic account plans to exceed sales and margin targets
Cultivate long-term relationships with customers, identifying opportunities for growth and cross-selling
Research customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity to inform business strategy
Prepare annual sales forecasts and expense budgets for assigned territories/accounts
Implement continuous improvements in the sales process and client engagement strategies
Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, supply chain, and regulatory teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Visit key accounts regularly to resolve challenges and strengthen partnerships
Ensure all account activities meet company quality and service standards
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, chemistry, life sciences, or a related field
1-3 years of B2B sales or account management experience, preferably in nutraceutical ingredients sales
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, or sourcing preferred
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Highly organized and self-motivated with a customer-first mindset
Willingness to travel as required (20–30%)
