  • Responsibilities

    An established global nutraceutical ingredients manufacturer is seeking a results-oriented Sales Account Manager to join its U.S. commercial team. The company is a leader in developing and supplying high-quality active ingredients (APIs) and finished dosage forms across regulated markets. This position offers an excellent opportunity to manage strategic customer relationships while driving revenue growth in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute strategic account plans to exceed sales and margin targets

    • Cultivate long-term relationships with customers, identifying opportunities for growth and cross-selling

    • Research customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity to inform business strategy

    • Prepare annual sales forecasts and expense budgets for assigned territories/accounts

    • Implement continuous improvements in the sales process and client engagement strategies

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, supply chain, and regulatory teams to ensure customer satisfaction

    • Visit key accounts regularly to resolve challenges and strengthen partnerships

    • Ensure all account activities meet company quality and service standards

    • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events

    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, chemistry, life sciences, or a related field

    • 1-3 years of B2B sales or account management experience, preferably in nutraceutical ingredients sales

    • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, or sourcing preferred

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

    • Highly organized and self-motivated with a customer-first mindset

    • Willingness to travel as required (20–30%)
