THE OPPORTUNITY
Multi-Conveyor LLC is looking for a Sales Account Manager to join a tight-knit high-performing sales team at its headquarters in Winneconne WI. The need is driven by two forces: a long-tenured account manager is retiring and the company is intentionally expanding its sales force to capture more of the market it already dominates quietly. This is not just a backfill. Multi-Conveyor has capacity and intent to grow revenue.
This is a consultative sales seat inside a 67-person family-owned conveyor manufacturer with 35+ years of history and a reputation as the industry’s best-kept secret. The Sales Account Manager will manage inbound inquiries build relationships with CPGs OEMs integrators and end-users and guide projects from first conversation through purchase order across Packaging Food Beverage Pharmaceutical Dairy Automotive and Industrial markets nationwide. You will be expected to understand how manufacturing facilities work how conveyors fit between machines and how to ask the right questions to define an application. The sales cycle runs four to five weeks with six to eight weeks for delivery. You will inherit a book of business from the retiring rep while also developing new accounts. The role is primarily in-office 7 AM to 4 PM or 8 AM to 5 PM with hybrid flexibility considered for exceptional candidates. Travel is minimal and local limited to occasional site visits for new applications. This is a role for someone who is technically curious relationally sharp and motivated by the chance to sell a product that customers genuinely believe in.

EARNING POTENTIAL
Base salary of $85,000 to $95,000 plus 2% commission on personal sales over 2M. Current account managers are earning $15,000 + in commission annually. Add 30 percent annual profit sharing, a company car, 100% employee health premium coverage and company-paid 401k fees. Total comp is well above market for Fox Valley manufacturing sales.

WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS
Inbound Lead Management and Sales Cycle:
Receive and manage inbound inquiries from CPGs OEMs integrators and end-users. Contact the customer define the application requirements build an inquiry folder and coordinate with the estimating department to produce a quote. Follow up within days manage objections and close the sale. Typical sales cycle is four to five weeks.
Customer Relationships and Account Growth:
Serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts throughout the sales process and beyond. Build trust through responsiveness technical competence and follow-through. Inherit the retiring rep’s book of business while developing new accounts through inbound channels and industry visibility.
Application Engineering Support:
Work with customers to understand conveyor needs product type line speed layout constraints and integration points. Translate those requirements into clear inquiry documentation that the engineering and estimating teams can act on. You do not need to be an engineer but you need to be mechanically curious and able to read a blueprint.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with the estimating department engineering team project managers and shop floor personnel. Once a purchase order is received hand off cleanly to the project manager. Stay connected to active accounts so you can identify repeat business and pull-through opportunities as projects near completion.
Quoting and Estimating Coordination:
Prepare inquiry folders with application details and work alongside the estimating department to generate accurate competitive quotes. Follow up with customers after delivery handle questions and adjust pricing or scope when needed to win the work.
Industry Engagement and Product Knowledge:
Develop deep knowledge of Multi-Conveyor’s product line accumulation tables alpines elevators belt and chain conveyors merge divert systems gripper conveyors and turnkey solutions. Attend trade shows like Pack Expo as a brand representative. Understand how conveyors integrate into broader production lines across multiple industries.
REQUIRED SKILLS EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES
MUST HAVE:
\- Experience in manufacturing industrial or capital equipment sales with a consultative selling approach
\- Familiarity with manufacturing environments understands how production lines work and how conveyors fit between machines
\- Ability to manage a four to five week sales cycle from inquiry through purchase order with disciplined follow-up
\- Customer-facing communication skills responsive technically credible and comfortable building long-term relationships
\- Blueprint reading ability can interpret layouts and engineering drawings at a working level
\- Based within commuting distance of Winneconne WI no relocation offered but relocation expenses covered for the right candidate
