Position Overview
Aligned Solutions is seeking a Sales Support Analyst for a well respected company. Reporting directly to the Sales Support Manager, this role provides general business development and sales support to the Sales Director for assigned customer accounts. These accounts may include leading e-commerce platforms, mid-tier retailers, distributors, and specialty retail channels.
This position partners cross-functionally to support account execution, forecasting, reporting, and day-to-day sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with multiple internal teams (Operations, Marketing, and Accounting), as well as external representatives and distribution partners, to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded
Includes managing quotes, item setup and maintenance, sample and mock-up requests, image and web-copy collection, forecasting support, and presentation development
Partner with domestic and import operations teams to communicate order changes or cancellations and track open orders
Support accurate sales forecasting and reporting by adding new items, maintaining forecasts, and assisting with forecast clean-up as needed
Monitor sales and inventory performance against forecast for assigned sales channels
Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions
Prepare sales and inventory reports as directed by Sales Management
Request and coordinate assets needed for catalogs and promotional materials
Complete, submit, and follow up on all channel management forms required for exclusive items
Create deal sheets for markdowns, chargebacks, and promotions; submit for internal review and approval
Support Marketing and Finance teams with co-op allowances or payment discounts as needed
Set up the company as a vendor in new customer portals, including obtaining and completing required documentation
Complete internal customer setup forms for new accounts under the assigned Sales Lead
Communicate with customers regarding purchase order status and new product opportunities
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
3–5 years of experience in consumer products or a related industry
Proven experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Accounting teams
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and resourceful self-starter
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism
Demonstrated relationship management skills
Strategic thinker with strong planning abilities and the capacity to see the big picture and its impact on decisions and actions
