Our client specializes in high-accuracy machining solutions for industries like automotive, aerospace, and general engineering and is hiring a remote Sales Application Engineer in
the western Michigan area.
In this role, you will leverage your strong technical background and drive to win and grow the business by partnering with customers as a trusted advisor, expanding existing accounts, developing new ones, and delivering high-precision, high-value solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales plans to achieve annual targets.
Partner with customers to identify needs and propose effective technical solutions.
Present and demonstrate value-added products clearly and confidently.
Coordinate with internal support teams to troubleshoot and resolve customer challenges.
Serve as the key link between customers and internal departments for delivery, performance, and design inquiries.
Train customers on proper use and application of provided solutions.
Identify, report, and help resolve customer issues, recommending improvements proactively and reactively.
Requirements
Bachelor’s/Associate's degree or technical background through hands-on experience
3+ years of cutting tooling experience (strongly preferred)
Strong work ethic; self-motivated and confident in decision-making
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional presenter with persuasive, value-based selling skills
Consultative, customer-focused, and solutions-oriented
Creative problem solver
Willing to travel up to 50%
