Our client is hiring a Sales Applications Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Sales Applications Engineer

• Handle all lead generation, quoting and building new and existing customer relationships.
• Provide support to engineering personnel for our client's customer base for new automation component sales.
• Collaborate with inside and outside personnel to manage project timelines for new product launches.
• Once quotes are presented, close the deals to obtain the purchase orders.
• Be instrumental with feedback from the marketplace in terms of ideal product pricing for new automation component sales.
• Present to customers the new concepts developed to solve automation problems.

Requirements of the Sales Applications Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is a plus but not required.
• One to 10 years of full-time experience in the machinery or automation component industries is a plus with experience selling directly to the decision-maker buyers for automation and machinery builders.
• Excellent benefits and growth potential!
• MS Office including MS Excel proficiency is a strong plus.
• Only limited travel
• Bilingual Japanese speaking is a plus but not required

Compensation for the Sales Applications Engineer

The targeted annual starting base salary for this position ranges from $70,000.00 to $95,000.00 depending on experience.
