JEL Manufacturing, a leader in concrete production equipment, is seeking a driven Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. We’re looking for someone eager to learn our industry, master our processes, and grow into a full-time sales role within approximately one year. What You’ll Do
Support our sales manager and dealer network by creating detailed customer proposals and managing order paperwork (invoices, purchase orders, shipping documents, etc.).
Act as a key liaison between Sales/Dealer Network, Engineering, and Accounting to ensure seamless communication.
Collaborate with third-party marketing partners to execute strategic email, print, convention, and direct marketing campaigns.
Deliver exceptional customer service to internal team members and external clients, often via phone and email.
Learn and utilize industry-specific software to streamline operations and drive results.
Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and professional customer proposals.
Process and maintain order-related documentation in a paperless, multi-screen office.
Bridge communication between sales, engineering, and accounting teams.
Support marketing efforts to promote JEL’s cutting-edge equipment.
Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues through top-notch service.

What We’re Looking For
Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software.
Comfort working in a digital, multi-screen environment.
Typing speed of 40+ words per minute.
Adaptability to a fast-paced, evolving task environment.
Moderate technical aptitude (understanding mechanical/electrical concepts is a plus).
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills, with confidence handling phone and email interactions.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a desire to grow into a sales role.
