FOS Furniture is seeking an ambitious goal-driven Sales Professional to join our team. If you have excellent communication skills and a proven track record in retail sales, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Greeting customers with an Engaging personality upon entering the showroom in a welcoming manner.
Qualifying buyers by asking targeted questions about their room dimensions, preferred styles, and budgets.
Recommending pieces that match consumer needs, including layout suggestions and fabric coordination.
Conducting product demonstrations to highlight features like mattress technology, reclining mechanisms, and wood finishes.
Processing transactions using Point of Sale (POS) computer systems for cash, credit, or financing options. Setting up financing and guiding clients through credit application procedures. Scheduling deliveries or warehouse pickups and coordinating timelines with the logistics department. Managing order paperwork, including custom upholstery changes or special factory orders
Flexible availability to work weekends and major shopping holidays when traffic peaks.
Qualifications
1 to 2 years of experience in retail sales, commission-based retail, or customer service environments.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, or annual retail sales quotas.
Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
Ability to actively listen, master product knowledge and effectively explain product features and benefits to match customer needs
Engaging personality with a positive attitude and a highly self-motivated team player
Active listening habits to accurately match customer budgets and design aesthetics
Basic math skills for calculating custom discounts, finance payment plans, and delivery fees.
