Job Summary
Learns/maintains a thorough knowledge of inventory; provides excellent salesmanship
Customer Service-
Ensures customer satisfaction through providing professional, knowledgeable, courteous customer service, and resolving customer complaints
Aids customers in choosing instruments and/or accessories to purchase
Processes merchandise returns, refunds, or exchanges
Assists customers in locating merchandise, takes special orders, answers questions
Makes sales calls- follow up calls on proposals, approvals, maximum rental credit, extended warranty, etc.
Processes rental applications
Take in repairs
Tasks
Receives incoming packages
Ships orders and returns
Manages Pitneybowes Machine
Shared tasks with sales team
Monitors for shoplifting
Labels & puts away accessory inventory
Ensures the sales floor is fully stocked, neat, organized, and clean with all returned rentals, exchanges, and repairs put in their correct department
Restocks bows; assists with returns/ships, orders, receives refurbished bows
Showcases merchandise in an appealing manner and frequently updates the display
Maintains Cashiering area- Keeps non inventory items (merchandise bags, display bags, hangtags, receipt paper, printer paper, labels, sticky notes, etc.) well stocked; clean & organized
Opens and Closes store with the rest of the sales staff
Calling tech support when there is a computer issue
Other daily/weekly housekeeping tasks includes dusting, trash, breaking down boxes, & recycling
Participates in some rental meetings & weekend events
Job Preferences
Ability to play a stringed instrument
1-3 years of Sales experience
Available to work a 40 hour week including Saturdays
