  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Sales Strategy Development: Partner with the VP, peers, brokers, and distributor network to develop, implement, and drive our sales strategy targeting the Mainstream food channel.
    • Revenue and Profit Goals: Achieve budgeted revenues and team sales goals, maximizing profitability. Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget, marketing plan, and business plan.
    • Account Management: Manage day-to-day sales activities, developing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, and implementing sales strategies outlined by the VP of Sales and Marketing.
    • Distribution and Promotion Execution: Develop and execute distribution targets and promotion plans that follow company guidelines, managing customer sales forecasts, distribution targets, profitability, and trade spend targets.
    • Customer Relationship Building: Build strong and credible relationships with existing customers and channels through customer meetings, site visits, etc., to meet sales projections set by the Company.
    • Market Analysis and Reporting: Assist the VP of Sales and Marketing in producing monthly reports and sales forecasts to analyze current/potential market and sales trends. Coordinate activities to increase revenue and market share, monitoring performance to ensure actual sales meet or exceed established revenue plans.
    • Cross-Department Collaboration: Facilitate cross-department collaborations with R&D, Production, Quality, and other relevant departments to drive product development and enhance product quality based on customer and consumer feedback.
    • Product Development Updates: Update the R&D team on a variety of food trends to create new SKUs and improve existing recipes.
    • Quality Feedback Participation: Be a key member of weekly/monthly sensory tastings to provide instant feedback on product quality.
    • Trade Show Representation: Participate in nation-wide food shows to approach business opportunities with prospects.
    • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other tasks as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred
    • Minimum 3 years experience with proven track record of leadership in a sales organization/business unit in the food industry
    • Working knowledge of sales cycles according to customer types, i.e., retailers, wholesalers, food services, etc. Prior experience with mainstream market preferred
    • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to organize and prioritize in a fast paced environment
    • Ability and willingness to travel throughout assigned sales territory domestically and/or internationally as needed
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
    • Proficient in Google Apps, MS Office Suite, etc.

    Additional Information

    All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. Pay is between $75K-$80K plus 20% discretionary bonus.
