About Midgleys

Midgleys is Lane County’s oldest continuously operating business. Since 1881, Midgleys has helped families with their homes, first with millwork, then evolving into a hearth store; selling, installing, and servicing fireplaces, fireplace inserts, and freestanding stoves. Job Summary

We are looking for a sales associate who is friendly, charismatic, a self-starter, who can help customers with the selection of our hearth products. You will need to develop product knowledge to be able to transform a complicated system into easier choices for the customers.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome customers, in the store, on the phone, and on the internet.

Follow Midgleys sales process

Use the design center to configure products

Use the point-of-sale program

Schedule job site visits

Create and follow up on leads

Warm call existing customers

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Proficient in Word, Excel, various applications

Retail sales experience

Good communicator

Quick learner

Friendly and personable
