The Sales Associate is an integral part of the showroom as they are responsible are to work directly with the Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Clients, and Represented Manufacturers to ensure the smooth processing and production of orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payments, record deposits, and provide confirmations to clients and manufacturers
- Provide support to customers from start to finish. This includes finalizing details required per manufacturer/order, communicating order completion and project installation dates, and coordinating timelines of all entities through project completion
- Answer phone calls, assist with pricing requests, and transfer to assigned Inside Sales
- Update approvals for CFA’s, DFA’s, COM forms
- Provide tracking updates to clients
- Review weekly manufacturer status reports, update clients on ECD’s, request missing information, and update manufacturer on any holds
- Send balance due notices to clients prior to order completion
- Initiate customer claims to assigned sales team and manufacturer
- Partner with accounting on refund requests
- Request freight quotes and update ship to addresses
- Enter new client account cards and send to accounting for resale verification
- Provide 5 star customer service to all clients in showroom
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 2 + years’ experience in a luxury services environment
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Polished and professional demeanor
- High level of proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Excel
- Friendly and energetic attitude
