Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Sales / Business Development professional with experience in electrical power systems to support continued growth across key markets.
This is a hybrid role based in the Greater Houston area, with a strong focus on developing new business while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships. The position will involve regular travel to customer sites and project locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within targeted industries
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, contractors, and end users
- Support the sales cycle from initial engagement through project execution
- Present and position technical solutions aligned with client needs
- Collaborate internally with engineering and operations teams
- Maintain visibility into market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements
Preferred Background
- Experience selling electrical equipment or solutions such as switchgear, transformers, or related systems
- Strong background in business development and technical sales
- Ability to manage both new client acquisition and existing account growth
- Experience working within industrial, energy, infrastructure, or related sectors
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
