Support the Sales & Catering Manager in servicing and detailing all group events for our newly renovated resort (10,000 sq. ft. of event space, 6 meeting rooms, 400 banquet capacity, 148 guest rooms). Responsibilities include coordinating décor, deposits, room assignments, menu selections, and final billing to ensure exceptional guest experiences. October start date. Responsibilities: • Manage schedules, file important documents, and communicate relevant information from the sales team to stakeholders and hotel departments • Increase revenues by upselling and providing additional amenities and upgrades to customers to ensure they are entirely satisfied • Act as a liaison between the sales/catering team and clients. • Manage the catering sales process from beginning to end, including planning, budgeting, execution, and billing. • Always maintain professional dress and demeanor around internal and external clients • Communicate relevant information from the sales team to stakeholders and hotel departments using STS generated BEOs and Resumes. • Run at weekly BEO and Resume meeting. • Print and organize materials to support the Sales & Catering Manager. • Help schedule banquets team for events. • Keeps track of sales materials and supplies during quarterly inventory. Qualifications: • Proven track record of client success • Advanced sales and customer service skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Working knowledge of Microsoft products • Proven experience in sales, hotels or other administrative positions will be considered a plus. • Proficiency in English • Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving • A team player with high level of dedication Compensation: $16 per hour
