Sales Consultant – 525 Technologies
Position Overview The Sales Consultant at 525 Technologies drives new customer acquisition and revenue growth by developing strong relationships, understanding customer needs, and positioning our technology solutions effectively. This role combines consultative selling, product expertise, and strategic account development to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect & Qualify Leads: Identify, research, and qualify new business opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, and marketing-generated leads.
Consultative Selling: Engage prospects to uncover business challenges, understand their technical needs, and present tailored 525 Technologies solutions.
Sales Presentations & Demos: Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations that articulate the value and ROI of our offerings.
Proposal & Contract Management: Develop proposals, prepare quotes, negotiate terms, and close contracts in alignment with company pricing and policies.
Account Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships; ensure customer satisfaction and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and timely entries in the CRM system, track opportunities, and forecast sales.
Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with marketing, technical teams, and leadership to refine messaging, support proposals, and deliver seamless handoffs to implementation teams.
Market & Competitive Insight: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and customer needs to inform strategy and positioning.
Qualifications
Required
Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to build credibility and rapport with prospects and customers
Goal-driven and self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Preferred
Experience selling IT, cloud, cybersecurity, or managed services
CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
Familiarity with sales methodologies (Challenger, SPIN, MEDDICC, etc.)
