    Job Summary Stand Strong Fencing of Southlake is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our team. This role will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by presenting and selling the features and benefits of our premium fencing solutions and driving the sale of products to prospective clients through self generated, organic and paid leads.

    Sales Consultant will adopt our structured sales process, complete required training, and work to exceed sales goals. By continually prospecting for new customers through networking, referrals, and effective follow-up, the sales consultant will help expand our client base and build lasting relationships. Additionally, you will set and maintain appointments to ensure consistent performance, collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction and successful project execution.

    Compensation and Benefits

    Salary:

    $70,000 to $140,000+, with uncapped earnings available for exceeding sales metrics

    Independent Contractor (1099) — 100% commission-based

    6% Based Commission + Bonus

    Apple IPad w/ data plan

    Experience and Education

    1+ years of sales experience in home services or related fields

    Construction industry experience or equivalent hands-on field experience preferred.

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

    Polished, professional demeanor and a strong work ethic

    Exceedingly positive work attitude with the ability to build trust and mutual respect with colleagues and supervisors

    Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities without close supervision

    Experience reading, interpreting, and managing financial statements

    Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, QuickBooks (or other accounting software), and CRM platforms

    Strong technical aptitude and ability to navigate modern software systems

    Basic computer skills and internet proficiency

    Must have a valid driver’s license

    Sales Consultant Responsibilities

    Client Engagement & Consultative Sales

    Confirm and qualify booked appointments, ensuring client needs are understood and met.

    Conduct consultative sales appointments, generate accurate estimates, and present comprehensive proposals to property owners or representatives.

    Address potential client queries promptly and professionally to ensure a seamless sales experience.

    Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction, encourage repeat business, and support referral opportunities.

    Lead Generation & Market Expansion

    Perform organic and paid lead generation strategies and activities to drive new business opportunities.

    Maintain a thorough understanding of the marketplace, competitors, and industry trends to identify new business and marketing opportunities.

    Create and execute a product marketing plan aimed at increasing sales and revenue.

    Product Expertise & Customer Education

    Develop deep expertise in product, technical, industry, and process knowledge in relevant product areas.

    Demonstrate products to potential customers, ensuring they understand the value and benefits.

    Develop and provide product reference documents and materials for customers to enhance their buying experience.

    Sales Planning & Coordination

    Organize, plan, and prioritize sales calls and appointments to maximize efficiency and results.

    Collaborate with installation team leaders to analyze client requirements and ensure seamless communication across departments.

    Communicate cross-functionally with operations, production, and marketing teams to ensure alignment throughout the sales and delivery process.

    Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) consistently to ensure process compliance and reliability.

    Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of taking clear, actionable notes during meetings and customer interactions.

    CRM, Reporting & Administration

    Utilize CRM and digital sales tools to manage leads, document client interactions, and report sales activity.

    Create and submit Start of Day (SOD) and End of Day (EOD) reports to ensure transparency and alignment.

    Perform basic record-keeping and data entry tasks to ensure proper tracking of sales activities and client inquiries.

    Maintain professionalism in all interactions with clients and co-workers, fostering positive and productive relationships.

    Demonstrate strong documentation habits and the ability to show proof of work when needed.

    Ensure all required sales documentation (e.g., estimates, permits, contracts) is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.

    Performance & Development

    Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and activity benchmarks.

    Embrace a growth mindset and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, feedback, and professional development.

    Additional Responsibilities

    Travel as needed for progress and quality assurance checks.

    Perform other duties as assigned to support overall business objectives.

    Skills:

    Strong understanding of construction practices, building codes, and building methods

    Ability to uncover customer needs including goals, plans, challenges, timeline, and budget

    Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail

    Proven time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

    Proactive approach to sales through business development and disciplined lead follow-up

    Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills

    Comfortable working in dynamic environments and managing ambiguity effectively

    Demonstrates strong active listening skills and a consultative communication style

    Skilled in negotiation and persuasive communication

    Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

    Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.

    Capable of twisting, using hands to handle objects, and reaching with hands and arms.

    Must be able to push, pull, climb, or balance as needed.

    Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

    Must have the ability to talk and hear clearly in various work environments.

    Work outside in elements and varying seasons

    Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 100 lbs or more.

    Must be able to drive a motor vehicle for extended time periods.
