Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing support to clients and assisting the sales department
Essential Job Duties
- Responds to customer inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and clarity.
- Proactively provides updates regarding order status, delays, or changes.
- Addresses concerns and complaints courteously and escalates when needed.
- Builds positive relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and retention.
- Reviews and enters customer orders, ensuring all details meet client and internal requirements.
- Monitors order status and timelines from entry through shipping.
- Coordinates with production to verify lead times, material availability, and job completion.
- Collaborates with sales, production, and shipping teams to ensure order accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Maintains internal tracking systems with up-to-date status and notes on customer orders.
- Communicates special customer requirements to appropriate departments.
- Confirms and manages shipping details and tracks deliveries to ensure timely receipt.
- Liaises with carriers and resolves shipping issues quickly and effectively.
- Maintains accurate records of orders, communications, and adjustments.
- Assists with DFM report review and other support tasks as assigned.
- Supports the sales team with administrative duties and reporting as needed.
Education & Experience
A high school diploma or GED is required for this role. In addition to the education requirement, this position requires a minimum of two years of related experience in an administrative or support role, preferably within a sales or customer service environment. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be used to satisfy these requirements.
