    Sales Coordinator — Hayward Contracting

    Position: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Location: Jacksonville, NC (In-Office Role) Reports To: Sales Manager / Office Manager Salary: $13.50 + bonuses

    Position Overview

    The Sales Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the growth of Hayward Contracting by handling inbound sales calls, conducting outbound cold calls, assisting with quoting and product education, and providing field support for basic marketing tasks such as placing yard signs and handling out-of-office requests. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Answer inbound sales calls and route or assist as needed

    Conduct outbound cold calls to potential customers and lead lists

    Assist in selling Hayward Contracting products including:

    Eclipse Shading Systems

    Sunsetter Awnings

    Screen room enclosures

    Lifestyle garage screens

    Other residential exterior improvement products

    Interior Trim Services

    Schedule sales appointments, consultations, and product demonstrations

    Maintain customer information, notes, and follow-ups in CRM/Service software

    Assist in preparing quotes, proposals, or marketing materials as needed

    Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams

    Place yard signs at job sites and targeted locations (requires personal vehicle)

    Complete occasional out-of-office requests such as dropping off materials, picking up supplies, etc.

    Support the sales team on administrative tasks and reporting

    Requirements & Qualifications

    Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle

    Strong phone personality and ability to engage confidently with customers

    Comfortable making outbound cold calls

    Professional verbal and written communication skills

    Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn software platforms

    Strong organizational and follow-up skills

    Ability to work independently and within a team structure

    Customer service mindset and sales-oriented attitude

    Prior sales or customer engagement experience preferred (not required)

    Local knowledge of Jacksonville and surrounding areas is a plus

    Work Environment & Schedule

    This is an in-office position with occasional out-of-office errands. Normal work hours are: Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
