Are you someone who thrives in a fast-moving commercial environment, keeps everything organized, and makes the people around you more effective?
Do you find energy in understanding a transaction from quote to shipment, following up so nothing falls through the cracks, and building relationships with customers along the way? Are you tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and motivated by being an essential part of a high-performing sales team?
This role is a ground-floor opportunity to grow into North America hardwood lumber sales and purchasing at Robinson Lumber Company, one of the world’s leading international wood products companies.
The Opportunity
Robinson Lumber Company (RLC), now in its fifth generation of family ownership, is a global leader in wholesale wood products purchasing, manufacturing, and distribution, serving customers and suppliers in over seventy countries. Our North America hardwood division is growing, and we are building the team around it.
The Sales Coordinator will work directly alongside our North America hardwood sales and purchasing team from our New Orleans headquarters, supporting the full commercial cycle from quoting and order management through shipment and customer follow-up. This is a role designed for someone who wants to learn the business from the inside and grow into a long-term commercial career.
Why This Role Matters
The North America hardwood business runs on relationships and execution. The Sales Coordinator enables both. In this role, you will directly influence:
