Role Purpose: The role of a Sales Coordinator is to support the sales team and facilitate the coordination of sales activities for a specific
location at Uptown Alley. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the sales
department and contributes to achieving sales targets and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic and Financial Management
Clearly communicate payment deadlines and policies.
Tracking deposits and final payments from clients.
Create and update invoices/event orders.
Work closely with event and sales team.
Responsible for event execution, before, during and after.
Prep next day event folders with final green copy, populated banquet checklist, applicable event cards, drink tokens, game cards, wristbands
Operational Management
Oversee the daily operations of the sales office, ensuring smooth running and maximum guest satisfaction on all events.
Maintain all social and youth banquet event orders.
Help answer phones, book social events and input into catering system.
Coordinate with kitchen and chef to ensure timely event and food execution.
Oversee the ordering and management of party inventory
Staff Management
Conduct pre-event meetings with staff and relay information as well as personnel duties.
Handle disciplinary actions when necessary.
Foster a team-oriented, positive work environment.
Carefully supervise staff, ensuring proper service and guest satisfaction during the entirety of an event.
Customer Service
Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing and resolving complaints promptly.
Receive and handle complaints concerning food, beverage or service.
Monitor customer feedback and use insight to improve service quality and experience.
Education & Qualifications:
Highschool or GED equivalent.
Must be 21 years old.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs, Able to stand for long periods of time.
Desirable - AA or BA in business management or relevant discipline.
Experience:
Minimum 1-3 years experience with restaurant, event planning, catering position.
Experience in a high-volume environment.
Desirable - Previous experience in a senior management role in events, catering or sales related field.

Desirable - Basic understanding of event booking software, Microsoft Office. Familiarity with the latest entertainment trends and technology.
Working knowledge of our Point-of-Sale (POS) System
