    Position Summary

    The Sales Development Associate is an early-career sales role for a motivated professional who is ready to build a structured career in B2B sales.

    This position works directly with a Senior Segment Manager to support an existing customer portfolio while developing the skills required to manage independent sales opportunities. Responsibilities include customer follow-up, quote support, CRM activity, pipeline coordination, account research, and new opportunity development.

    The role is designed as a progression path into account management, territory sales, and enterprise sales. Advancement will be based on performance, ownership, customer communication, sales discipline, and the ability to manage opportunities with increasing independence.

    Responsibilities

    · Support a Senior Segment Manager with an active book of business across assigned markets and customer segments.

    · Assist current customers with product questions, quote requests, order follow-up, and solution recommendations.

    · Help move sales opportunities through discovery, proposal, follow-up, and close.

    · Conduct targeted outbound prospecting to identify new opportunities within assigned industries and accounts.

    · Follow up on inbound leads, website inquiries, configurator activity, trade show contacts, and marketing-generated opportunities.

    · Maintain accurate activity, account, contact, task, and opportunity records in Salesforce CRM.

    · Prepare quotes, proposals, product information, and customer follow-up materials.

    · Learn how to qualify opportunities, identify customer needs, and position Sonic solutions around productivity, organization, efficiency, and tool control.

    · Coordinate with sales leadership, operations, customer service, product, and fulfillment teams to support customer success.

    · Assist with customer meetings, trade shows, product demonstrations, and occasional onsite installations or walkthroughs.

    · Track sales activity, pipeline movement, and follow-up execution with regular coaching and performance feedback.

    · Represent Sonic Tools USA professionally in all customer interactions.

    Minimum Requirements

    · High school diploma or GED required.

    · One or more years of customer-facing, sales, or business development experience preferred.

    · Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

    · Ability to travel occasionally for trade shows, customer visits, sales meetings, and installations.

    · Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. unassisted, with or without reasonable accommodation.

    · Strong phone and email communication skills.

    · Basic comfort with technology, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

    Preferred Qualifications

    · Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

    · Experience in inside sales, B2B sales, account support, customer success, retail sales, hospitality, automotive, aviation, industrial, or technical markets.

    · Interest in tools, equipment, automotive, motorsports, manufacturing, aviation, or technical products.

    · Experience using Salesforce or another CRM platform.

    · Prior experience supporting a senior salesperson, account manager, or business development leader.
