Sales Development Rep (Sdr) - Divorce & Custody Law Firm
The Law Office of Sam Byrd & Associates is seeking a highly organized, emotionally intelligent, and action-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to handle inbound leads, qualify them, and book paid legal strategy sessions ("Phase 1" offers). You will be the first voice a prospective client hears and a key driver of whether they take action to protect themselves and their families. We help good people through hard times—your job is to make sure they don't go it alone. Responsibilities: • Answer inbound calls (primarily from paid ads, website, and referrals) • Qualify leads using a structured intake script • Clearly communicate the value of our paid Phase 1 legal strategy session • Book and schedule appointments using our CRM • Take payment over the phone when appropriate • Follow up with leads who: (1) Don’t schedule immediately; (2) No-show their first appointment; (3) Attend but don’t immediately retain • Track lead status and ensure consistent CRM updates • Send pre-call reminders, post-call follow-ups, and nurture messages • Support the sales team with data tracking and lead handoff Qualifications: • Strong customer service experience is necessary for this position • Details and meeting goals motivate you to provide exceptional customer service to your prospects, clients, and team • High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred • Understanding the sales process and how to enter information into client databases desired • Stellar communication, presentation, persuasion, interpersonal, and negotiating skills • High school diploma required • College coursework or degree preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Confident on the phone and professional under pressure • Detail-oriented and highly organized • Details and meeting goals motivate you to provide exceptional customer service to your prospects, clients, and team • Emotionally intelligent, with the ability to stay calm and positive with upset callers • Comfortable working with scripts and checklists • Self-motivated, reliable, learns quickly, and quick to take initiative • Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000 yearly
