    Position Summary

    The Sales Development Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities through high-volume outbound prospecting conducted from the office. This role focuses on identifying prospective customers, introducing company solutions, and securing qualified meetings for the Business Development team.

    Success in this role requires persistence, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain consistent daily outreach to build a pipeline of qualified prospects. This role is best suited for individuals who enjoy proactive outreach and building opportunities through consistent prospecting.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Conduct high-volume outbound calls daily to prospective customers to introduce company solutions and generate interest.
    • Identify and qualify potential customers through outbound calling, email outreach, and targeted prospecting.
    • Schedule discovery calls, product demonstrations, or introductory meetings for the Business Development team.
    • Maintain consistent outreach activity including call volume, follow-ups, and prospect engagement.
    • Research target accounts and identify key decision makers within prospective organizations.
    • Clearly communicate the value of the company’s services to generate customer interest and open new sales conversations.
    • Address initial objections and determine whether a prospect is a qualified opportunity.
    • Build and manage a pipeline of prospects within the company CRM.
    • Collaborate closely with the Business Development & Customer Success team to refine targeting lists and outreach strategies.
    • Achieve or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs including call volume, prospect conversations, and meetings scheduled.

    Required Qualifications

    • Experience in inside sales, outbound prospecting, lead generation, or appointment setting preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a high-activity outbound calling environment.
    • Strong verbal communication, persuasion, and objection-handling skills.
    • Comfortable initiating conversations with prospective customers and decision makers.
    • Resilient, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) preferred.
    • Familiarity with prospecting and contact research tools such as ZoomInfo is beneficial.
    • College degree preferred or three to five years of successful documented sales experience

    Work Environment

    This is an in-office inside sales role conducted primarily through phone and digital outreach. The position works directly with the Business Development team to generate qualified sales opportunities and requires consistent daily outbound prospecting activity.
