SUMMARY
We are looking for a high-performing, results-driven Sales Development Representative to join a global manufacturing leader in Oxford, Connecticut. In this role, you will actively engage new and existing customers, uncover opportunities, and drive revenue growth across the U.S. You’ll work side-by-side with a Business Development Manager—among the top producers in the weighing equipment industry, gaining exposure to best-in-class sales strategies while directly contributing to increased revenue and profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner closely with Business Development Managers to execute territory and account strategies.
- Generate new leads and prospect for new dealers to create an ongoing quote pipeline to successfully build new business.
- Maintain and develop existing dealer base through trusted relationship management.
- Maintain pipeline, forecasts, and account activity in CRM
- Analyze business issues and business cycles to identify products and services to meet those needs, create persuasive sales proposals and overcome objections, issues, or concerns.
- Answer inbound phone calls and advise customers on product options and any order-related questions.
- Deliver consistent quota attainment through disciplined prospecting and follow-up.
- Submit sales reports, territory forecasts, industry trends and market reporting.
- Achieve and exceed assigned quarterly and annual sales quota goals.
REQUIREMENTS
- Associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 2+ years of B2B inside sales, account management, or customer-facing sales experience.
- Ability to develop and maintain business relationships with internal and external contacts at all levels.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills as well as attention to detail is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams virtual meetings.
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
